Kangaroo Care...

Bradley is moving up in the world!  Yesterday he got to move to an isolette (like a little baby greenhouse) to help him regulate his temperature.  Mommy and Daddy got to hold him for the first time since he was born!!  We got to hold him right up against our chests, skin to skin to bond with our little miracle- what they call in the NICU, Kangaroo Care.  He was so snuggly up against our chests squirming around so warm and cuddly.   It was such an amazing feeling to be holding such a tiny little baby...Our baby, our son.

He drank 15cc by mouth and did so well!  We are so proud of our little trooper...  They tell us he has the highest pitch cry in the nursery and can be distinguished over the other babies- that's our boy!  He opened his eyes yesterday for mommy and daddy!  He is so beautiful.

Thanksgiving in the NICU... we are so thankful for our tiny bundle of joy, our new son.  We are so blessed..

Bradley is Here!!

Welcome Bradley!

Our little 3 pound, 13 ounce bundle of joy was born! November 25 at 10:25 am, he came out screaming and pink (with Apgars of 8 and 9- that's good)! Our little preemie is in the NICU doing so well, breathing on his own and on IV fluids. Today is the day that he will try to feed! Mommy is doing great and trying to get used to the whole breastfeeding (and pumping) thing. Daddy did sooo great too (he did not even pass out)! Mommy and Daddy are sooo proud of our new little miracle.
He is so beautiful- as you can see. He has mommy's chin and daddy's ears.
